Micro Machines Aircraft Carrier Military Playset. New and Complete. Box has wear from storage but inside is new and complete with box inserts, unused sticker sheet, and complete stills sealed parts.
This incredible naval aircraft carrier playset was made by Galoob Micromachines, and is very hard to find now since they made so few and Galoob was bought out later that same year. It is part of the terrific Micromachines Military series, and the small vehicles and figures are highly sought after by some military miniature collectors around the world. It is bigger and more realistic than the older "Sea Hawk Carrier Playset" that Micromachines had produced up until 1993. This one is one of the biggest playsets they made for Micromachines, after making the huge "Super Auto World" playset. It is nearly 30" long, and the box is big.
The ship is realistic in design for a toy and looks great on a shelf. Look at how much stuff it has:
It has 4 working elevators to move planes and such up from the lower decks.
It has 2 rotating Vulcan self-defense weapon systems.
The carrier launches missiles.
The aircraft hanger deck opens up, and has a working crane.
The flight deck has 2 working catapults to launch the jet fighters from the runway,
A flip-up hatch to the catapult control station on deck.
It has the landing arrestor net.
The propellers can be rotated.
The control island opens to bridge platform.
It has the antennas, deck markings, carrier numbers, bridge superstructure and other items to give it a realistic look.
There is a section that nests inside and can be removed that serves as the enemy beachhead island base, with its own missile launcher and rotating anti-aircraft gun.
The entire carrier has tiny wheels underneath to move it with, or roll it.
It comes with fighter jets being one F/A Hornet, and one F-14 Tomcat.
It comes with 2 characters/crew.
